Alice McCall's show (more on that soon) was on Day #3 of MBFWA so I thought, why not wear some Alice to see the show? Why not indeed. I had this drapey crepe dress in my fashion week wardrobe and thought it would be perfect to take me through one of my longest MBFWA days with too many shows running back to back. Don't be tricked by its loose flowy shape - it's actually also a very heavy crepe! Luckily for me it was able to take me through both the chilly morning with its thickness as well as keeping me cool when the sun came out. I bought this clutch just before I left for Sydney thinking it'd be a fun colour block piece to add to my outfits. It surprisingly fits much much more than I expected and since Sydney, I have found myself detaching the smaller clutch (it's detachable!) and using that only when going out. The pumps - another classic piece I think I will be wearing heaps this season. They will be my go-to whenever I need a classy pair of black heels. I finished this look with some personal touches of flowers, a vintage sweater guard and some printed socks and was very excited to see it featured in the Harper's Bazaar Street Style gallery last week :-)
