To me, stripes and polka dots are classic, must have patterns every girl should own in their wardrobe. They seem to never really go out of fashion and are a failsafe and easy way to experiment with patterns, without having to dive into the unknown realms of crazy geometrics or kaleidoscope prints. I’ve never really thought of wearing the two together as I often like to clash my stripes with florals. However the other day I just felt like being simple without being too simple, so I decided to put the two together and really, I don’t know why I didn’t sooner. I love how it’s got a preppy feel about it but also how it has a clean and crisp appearance. And with my stripes and polka dots on clothing as comfortable as this knit and dress combo, I could really wear these together forever.
