Connie Cao is a Melbourne based travel, lifestyle, home & sustainable living blogger, influencer, photographer & creative.
Born and raised in Melbourne Australia, with a Chinese heritage, Connie has always been fascinated with art, nature and the beauty of both these things.
Inspired by the world around us, Connie has a passion for creating beautiful photographic content and uniquely personal stories revolving around the topics of travel, lifestyle, home, gardening, sustainability, fashion and beauty. Connie and Luna is the place to browse all this content.
As a traveller, Connie loves exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations, eco-tourism attractions, beautiful resorts and hotels, bustling cities, the local food scene and hiking & road trip adventures. She loves to capture beautiful landscapes whilst travelling, with her favourite travel destinations being not just the big cosmopolitan cities, but also the smaller towns surrounded by the vastness of nature with endless hiking paths, greenery and sunshine.
Her favourite destinations range from the small-town feeling Ubud, Cinque Terre, Lake Annecy, Mt Cook National Park to ever-popular cities Tokyo, London and Copenhagen. Some of her favourite countries in the world are New Zealand, Italy, Iceland, Namibia and Japan. However, you don't need to travel far to quench your wanderlust - Connie also loves to uncover Melbourne's best travel secrets and things to do, as well as easy day trips and must-see road trip destinations around Australia.

When not travelling, Connie resides in a green little suburb surrounded by bushland in Melbourne, with her partner (newly engaged!) Tom. As first home owners, Connie loves inviting her audience along on this exciting chapter of their lives. Her passion for home decorating, styling and home improvement sees constantly working on projects around the house. She’s a true nature lover and having recently completed her Permaculture Design Certificate & undertaking her Diploma in Sustainable Living, Connie’s dream is to have a fully sustainable and self-sufficient home & lifestyle.
In the garden, they've recently completed their raised veggie beds - part #1 of their permaculture designed food garden oasis complete with veggies, fruit trees and herbs - a large scale project that will make the food journey even more meaningful and closer to home.
Day to day, Connie's interests include photography, yoga, practising meditation (trying to), sushi-making, sushi-eating, cooking, skincare, conscious consumption, flower-chasing, list-making and creating handmade flower crowns, earrings and accessories for her shop for customers around the world.
Connie has worked in partnership with a strong portfolio of local and international brands including Japan Tourism (JNTO), Starwood Group, Hyatt, China Southern Airlines, PANDORA, PayPal, David Jones, UNIQLO, Honda Australia, Coach, Topshop, ASOS, Bunnings, Klorane, Olivia Burton, Kikki.K, IKEA and more. Connie has also featured as a co-host on the popular television travel series, 'Fun Taiwan Adventures' which aired on Discovery Network TLC (2016).
Connie graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) & Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Marketing) with a big passion for creativity in the digital space. She recently completed her Permaculture Design Certificate and is currently studying for her Diploma of Sustainable Living at University of Tasmania. She speaks English, Mandarin and Shanghainese. ROWENA
Rowena is a photographer and studio assistant for Connie and Luna. She's the chatty one with the friendly smile at all our market stalls & also works full time as a doctor in hospital with an interest in specialising in general practice. When not managing her various roles, Rowena loves baking, chasing sunsets, going hiking and eating the photo props!
tom
Tom is the videographer and designated drone pilot for Connie and Luna. His interests include discovering the world through tasting local cuisines and exploring beautiful destinations and the most adventurous of hikes. When he isn't outdoors, you'll find him either at the gym, pumping out some Netflix or enjoying his sleep.
TORO
Toro, the newest and youngest member of the team, is the resident cute fluff and let's be real, the CEO of Connie and Luna. He keeps himself busy during the day by sneakily trying to trick us into doing things for his benefit or catching up on his ZZZs after performing his voluntary daily early morning wake up call.
