Girl With a Love for Cameras - My Camera Collection & Other Things
I own five cameras :)
My Polaroid 600
Three words: I love you. I received this for my 17th birthday :D I need to buy more film for this..! For those who have Polaroid cameras, The Impossible Project have produced some Polaroid film to satisfy your desire for film. Also, for those who own expired film, don't be afraid to use it! As long as it has been stored correctly, it should be fine for another good year. My film expired over a year ago but it still takes great photos :)
My Holga 120CFN
This was the first lomo camera I got. Yes, I got sucked in by Lomography's cult and clever branding and marketing. Indeed, I paid way more than I should have for a plastic, cheap looking film camera. However, I did get a 30% discount when I purchased it off Revolve so I suppose it balances it out! I use 120 film in this, and it has sucked up so much of my money... but at least it produces pretty photos right? Click here to see a few of the photos I've taken with it :) I've also taken some on colour film which I'll probably upload and share with you all in another post :)
My Diana F+ Mr Pink with flash
My Diana Mr Pink was a lovely present for my 18th birthday:) It's from the Lomography shop in China (hahahaha.. Lomography is cheaper down there!) I haven't actually taken any photos with it yet as uni started right after and I was feeling poor. But I can't wait to take it out for a spin sometime soon!
My Panasonic Lumix dmc-fs3 Digital Point & Shoot
This was my digital camera that I used to use all the time until I acquired my DSLR. Unfortunately it has been sitting in my drawer for the last 8 months doing... not much :( I think I might try to sell it on Ebay soon!
My Canon EOS 1000D DSLR
All the photos on my blog are taken by this little baby. If I had enough money, I would love to spoil him with everything he'd ever want! I would love to get for it an external flash, for the one on the camera is terribly crappy! However, they cost $200+ so that's not something I'll be doing soon.
My boombox certainly is not a camera but I really wanted to share it with you! For some reason, I always wanted a boombox with big circle speakers! Anyway, one day.. I found my dream boombox! Old school, box shaped, big circle speakers, with a cherry on the top - IT WAS RED!!!! Freaking yes! $25 YES PLEASE. My mum was pretty angry about it and when I brought it home, my dad was even angrier! I, on the other hand, lovelovelove it. It only plays radio and tape though - I really wished it had a CD player instead. But you can't have everything in life anyway, right?
Next on my hit list is:
A lubitel, but not for full price
