This Is Obviously My Favourite Skirt
Dearest readers,
Just dropping in to say hi & to share with you some recent updates in my life :):).
Yesterday I received a delivery from the postman. Can I just say how much I love postmen? For some reason, every single postman/delivery man I have encountered is friendly beyond words!!! Is it a coincidence or do AusPost have strict policies on hiring lovely people only?! The delivery people always knock energetically, smiles and all and yeah... I love friendly people! Today I got another postie visitor delivering me a lovely small parcel.. of course it was Topshop!!! I quickly signed the electronic signature thing, ran into my room.. I was so excited in receiving the order that I was chanting Topshop in my head (what a douche)!! I wanted to share with you what I had bought so I took a photo of the parcel too, had to take it twice because I forgot to change the settings on my camera!
And then I opened the box. WHY is there another box in my Topshop order? And OMGOD. My heart sank into the ground as I looked further. Stupid mis-assumption. It was my new mobile phone!
Anyway I was pretty disappointed because I really wanted to receive my Topshop order. It never crossed my mind that it would be the new mobile I ordered as it was only shipped the day before, who knew it would only take a day to come, right??
After calming down I checked out my new phone.. it's just a Nokia E71, I bought it because there was a special offer and my old contract expired :):). Here's a photo of me charging my new baby :).
Here's a photo of my new phone and old phone! I'm going to have to hurry up and get used to the QWERTY keyboard.. the keys are tiny and it's somewhat hard to type with at the moment, despite my fingers being tiny to begin with!
I spent my whole day studying for my exam and later went to check the mailbox and Topshop indeed came in the afternoon, but in a much less attractive type of packaging.
I thought it was very pretty poor as it was put in an oversized plastic bag thing and the box my tights came in were all creased and the receipt/forms inside were all mangled :(:(. Here's what I bought.. (no surprises!)
Left: Henry Holland limited edition suspender tights.
Right: Topshop heart suspender tights.
I just couldn't not have them!
I love how on the Henry Holland tights they've given you step-by-step instructions on how to put the tights on to avoid rips & pulls.. I thought it was very nice of them to remind us :)))
Anyway, onto some outfit relatedness, here's what I wore to go shopping recently:)
Embellished beret: Forever New
Stripe jumper: Cotton On Body
Trench coat: Dotti
Clasp belt: Dotti
Skirt: Vintage
Tights: Voodoo
Black oxfords: China
Bag: Vintage
This is obviously my favourite skirt. I wear it so much and it's just so versatile, works well in both Summer and Winter! And..the coat above was obviously my (old) favourite coat. I wore it so often that it's all worn out, crinkled and lost it's colour! And it is quite obvious I took these photos during sunset... everything was tinted orange hahaha
Here's what I had for dinner recently.. has anyone else had the crab on noodles dish? It's sososososoo good and my mum cooks it sososososoo well!
We had some mushroom soup too :P
Thanks everyone for wishing me well with exams.. my first one is tomorrow! This will be the first uni exam I will ever do, I hope it goes well!
