When the weather brings warm temperatures, the last thing I want to do is to wear skin-tight clothing. Hopping on and off the plane and walking around the streets of Sydney in these pieces makes things so much more comfortable and easier. Over the past few months, I've been stocking up on a very sugar-coloured Summer palette, snapping up pieces here and there to mix with some of my favourite vintage pieces. Things that you will be seeing a lot of include little collared crop tops matched with high waisted midi skirts, skater dresses and floral denim. I've also acquired my fair share of crazy eyelashes, drop waist dresses, more quirky animal prints (deer print, to be exact!) and lots of pastel nail polish.I'm complete in love with this midi-skirt from the ASOS Petite section as they are the perfect length for shorter people...like me. There's something about the stretchy diamond pattern which makes the skirt sit so well when you wear it. I've got this in pink and blue already and just have the feeling I might end up with the limeade one sooner or later. It's so hard to find maxi and midi skirts that fall at the right flattering length so when I come by a style that fits like this one, I generally end up with all colourways. I bought this citrus green shirt whilst delirious in bed recovering from my dental surgery back in the middle of June. It was probably about 12 degrees then but all I had on my mind was Summer. When I buy Summer clothes that early, I tend to end up not liking the piece when the time comes around. However, three months down the track, I am still a fan of this and am glad my delirious judgement was quite accurate! I know I've featured this polka dot vintage shirt a lot but it has definitely been my go-to throw on for its lightweight yet structured long-line cut which helps dress up a casual summertime outfit. I think I've mentioned the amazing buttons before...yes :)
