It was such a splendidly sunny afternoon today which was perfect for a glorious afternoon tea for the official launch of the Mansion SocieTEA at the historic Werribee Mansion Hotel & Spa. Werribee Mansion is such a beautiful location and is definitely not one to miss visiting if you're in Melbourne. I couldn't help but have a few panorama images snapped to capture the breathtaking sight for you all! This actually wasn't the first time I've been to the Mansion - I first visited last year and instantly fell in love with the beautifully kept gardens and the Italinate architecture. At that time, there was a wedding in the gardens playing the song, 'You and Me' by Lifehouse, which is Tom & I's favourite song/"couple song". So I instantly declared this place love. And of course, it is now at the top of my list of potential wedding locations because I am really really into outdoor garden weddings, which is probably why I love creating so many floral headpieces which are oh so perfect for them. So I was in such high spirits to visit again, even if it meant having to endure an (unavoidable) very long drive along the freeway - driving at any speed above 70km/h is definitely not one of my strengths..The Mansion Hotel & Spa has just launched a series of decadent high teas and it was wonderful to be able to experience it ourselves. With some amazing company and fancy table set-ups along the sun-bathed balcony, we delightedly sipped on delicious T2 blends whilst enjoying scrumptious pastries, sweet cakes, refreshing sandwiches and other exquisite delicacies. High tea is definitely not as common here as it is in London as I discovered during my visit earlier this year, so it was an absolutely pleasure to be able to enjoy it right here at home in Melbourne. It was also a pleasure to meet and catch up with fellow Melbourne bloggers as well. :-)To make my day sweeter (not that it needed to be even more sweetened!), I opened my T2 goodie bag to discover one of those pastel teacups that I've been eyeing for a while now. I've always wanted one of their pastel tea cups but have always been indecisive over the colours and never quite made my mind up. Luckily for me, Pybus PR gave me a little help and I now own a beautiful yellow tea-cup which I just know I will get so much use out of. Thank you! XOutfit photos to come!
