I just love it when I find two pieces which coincidentally have the same colour palette! I was looking for something to pair with these shorts and as I went through my wardrobe I noticed I had by chance, a sheer top that was the exact same shade of lilac of the lilac in the print of the shorts. Before I knew it I was building the look together with all sorts of purples and plums - not that hard when I realised so much of my wardrobe was this wine kind of colour. I even managed to find a necklace that had a pink shade to it - this sparkly Swarovski number from their latest collection 'Tropical Paradise'. I've been really loving sheer sleeveless shirts and singlets at the moment. To me they are the answer to staying cool whilst keeping the chance of sunburn to the minimum. I do love a cami for the warmer days however when I'm spending the day wandering through beautiful park grounds at Werribee, it's not really the best choice! The look is on the more dressed up side of the scale when it comes to R&R so I packed it to wear to dinner at Joseph's where I had some lovely yabby tail, seared salmon and a vanilla panna cotta decorated with pretty viola blooms. I might like wearing flowers in my hair.. but I've never been so adventurous as to eat them. However after watching Tom swallow one of the flowers on my plate and still be alive a minute later, I had the other. They were pretty soft and sweet!
