live active
I've been in a massive exercising mood lately, stalking yogis on Instagram, doing sun salutations in my bedroom and whatsapping my boy every two hours asking whether or not I should be eating what I am about to eat. It seems there is no way of convincing him that cookies and cream ice-cream is healthy because the tub says it is..Whilst I'm glad to have a few gym pieces in my wardrobe, I often do not have enough to last me an entire week until laundry day - so I often end up digging up old t-shirts or putting on silk tops I should probably save for other occasions. All this recent #activeliving fever culminated in a massive haul at Westfield last week when a last minute decision to go for a 'browse' at the shops led to me buying almost more pieces than I can count on my fingers. Numerous flat lays later, I think I've finally confirmed to myself that after combining my new pieces with my existing ones, I now have enough outfits to last me a week and enough different ways to mix and match each piece so that I don't get bored for at least another couple of years. Fingers crossed of course. It seems like sports brands love to print their logo prominently on all their pieces so I'm not going to list each piece specifically today. If you'd like to know where something's from, do leave me a comment and I'll let you know. For the record, if anyone is looking for a yoga mat I highly recommend the 5mm Lululemon mat which I bought two years ago and is still going strong today. Right now, the only thing missing in my life are these* and the only way of justifying my gym gear splurge seems to be to keep up my promise to be active every single day of the week.
