love from point lonsdale
Just a few (too many) snaps from our little Easter getaway to Point Lonsdale. The sweet as sugar team from Honda set us up with a brand new Honda CR-V to hit up the Bellarine Peninsula for #HondaHitsTheRoad. Jess, Ron, Tom & I made the most of our time in the area by exploring the nearby Queenscliff Harbour, visiting the iconic Point Lonsdale Pier & Lighthouse and taking a ferry across the bay to Sorrento where we serendipitously spotted a school of dolphins swimming by our side! We also filled our days with endless juices from my beloved mix & go (best purchase ever), slightly failed fishing made better with a drive up to the next town to pick up 3 dozen oysters, DIY brunch adventures in the kitchen and many hours admiring the beautiful interior decor of the place we stayed at. Actually that last part was just me. I don't know how many times I exclaimed how beautiful the house was done up with its vintage industrial lighting, what looked like to be a handmade natural wood day bed, colourful soft furnishings (I need to get myself some) and unique use of concrete in the bathroom, bluestone and natural timber throughout. I've come home with more inspiration than ever to decorate my place, as well as a sudden previously non-existent urge to subscribe to every single interior magazine known to mankind. And for the more than a handful of you on Instagram who asked where this pretty place was, it was a beautifully renovated (and of course decorated) place called Lonsy Beach Retreat which you can find here.
