MBFWA14 DAY #1
Wearing: Josh Goot vest (similar here), ASOS white crop top (similar here), ASOS flippy scuba skirt (similar here), Faith Chesterton black multi strap heels, Felix Rey Cityscape bubble umbrella, Jolie & Deen rings and Deadly Ponies Mr Pirouette bag.Yippee I'm back in Melbourne, time to get all my posts organised and up! It was such a dreary start to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia this year. I've never associated Sydney with rain however it rained as we walked across the tarmac at Sydney airport and it continued to rain all week when I was up for MBFWA.I picked up this Josh Goot puffer vest the week before at the Chapel St sample sale and brought it to Sydney with me as my only piece of outerwear. Day #1 turned out to be freezing and with a suitcase of all sorts of separates but no looks planned, I'm so glad that I was able to pull together a couple of basic pieces to go with the crazy print of this vest.Jysla and I shot these photos under cover before Carla Zampatti - by luck I remembered to pack an umbrella (I forgot last year) however no umbrella was big enough to stop us from getting drenched in the torrential weather as we climbed out of the taxi on Sunday afternoon :'-)Photos: Jysla Kay.
