Wearing: K is for Kani white rose floral headpiece | ASOS high neck crop top | ASOS metallic green pleated midi skirt | ASOS pale blue longline duster jacket | Tatty Devine swallow necklace (magpie necklace here)| The WhitePepper x ASOS horse bag (black version here) | ASOS cat eye sunglasses | The Mode Collective triple strap point in matte white croc | Dior Vernis 'Lili' 121***Racing season is here and this week I'll be sharing a couple of my favourite spring racing outfits as featured on the ASOS homepage :-)I know races are all about the dresses but today we're beginning with this unconventional but fun two-piece look - a mish mash of green (my favourite colour, of course) in varying shades and shiny-ness. I do adore dresses but I also think that a combination like this injects a bit of youth and individuality and can look just as put together as a dress, as long as you pick the right cuts (go for clean, tailored pieces). Plus, you can break these pieces up and work them into your wardrobe for future occasions too! And because you can never know what to expect in Melbourne, a light duster coat makes for the perfect cover up in case it's needed. Details wise, I cannot go past neutral nails (hopelessly in love with Dior Lili here). Pointed heels and I are also still much in love - I'm predicting this pretty pair from Mode is going to be on high rotation soon. And of course a floral headpiece is my top pick for headwear and is a fresh twist on the usual fascinator styles - you can check out my new headpieces created especially for the racing season here :-)You can shop this look and similar styles in the little scroll box down below.
