THE END OF THE UNIVERSITY ERA
Outtake from 'Sun's Shining' . Wearing Self Portrait White Reflections dress***It's been five and a half years in the making but this chapter has finally come to an end. It's one of the happiest days of my life today, thanks to Monash WES delivering the sunshine-sweet news this morning that I've just passed the last lot of my law exams! I haven't really told many people that this semester was meant to be my last semester at uni, because I didn't want to announce it prematurely or jinx myself and I've been too scared to even think about it for the same reasons too. My original intention was to finish my degrees at the end of this year however in a moment of ambitious thinking early last year, I made a last minute decision to fast-track my degree by studying non-stop through summer semester A, semester 1, winter semester, semester 2, summer A & summer B, followed by semester 1. I have never studied so hard in my life and prior to that I was under loading for a good two years. Looking back, I would never recommend anyone to do what I did. The stress and lack of work-study-life balance was so, so not worth it. However, I feel so relieved that it's finally over & I have just applied to graduate from my Bachelor of Laws & Bachelor of Commerce!I started this blog when I started uni and what a journey both have been so far. Thank you all for bringing such positive vibes when I've been stressing out about exams around here and thank you for always popping by even though I periodically disappear during the end of each and every semester. And of course, so much gratitude too for the support from Tom and my beautiful family & friends I've made at uni over the past five and half years. In about a month's time, Tom & I will be heading to Europe for some time, where we're excited to take you on a photographic journey with us through some beautiful coastal towns and sights we are excited to visit. Though being a lawyer is unlikely on my life plan, I'm excited to see what this journey brings next. There are so many dreams and adventures that have been waiting patiently to be chased. But for now, I'm going to sit here in disbelief for just a moment longer, adjusting to the fact that I'll never have to read a dissenting judgment, open a case commentary book or sit an exam ever again :-)
