The old town of Dubrovnik is probably the most popular tourist attraction of the city. It's a walled city (I'll take you on the city walls walk next!) & is extremely beautiful and well preserved. Aside from the main street (Stradun), every other street is basically an alleyway and lots of these are literally filled with stairs. We walked around without a set direction and were excited to find lots of interesting little spots to look at. In particular, we loved finding Buza Bar, a cliffside bar that can be reached by a hole in the wall (I can't even describe where this hole is, we just happened to chance upon it!), Gundulic Square market for food and souvenirs, Taj Mahal for extremely tasty Bosnian cuisine, Bota for oysters fresh from the sea (as well as fusion sushi too! #noonekeepsconnieawayfromthesushi #notevenincroatia) & old town harbour - it's got such a beautiful view from every angle. A good portion of the day would be needed to fully appreciate the Old City itself and we were so glad to have found enough time to see it all!
