Fun Taiwan Adventures episode 10 was the final episode of the season and for this episode, we flew to Kinmen county. Kinmen is a group of small islands which are actually right next to China but falls under Taiwan. There's a long history of both countries claiming the land as their own so you can imagine, this island has a big military characteristic to it with mines, tanks (look in the far distance of the picture above), underground passages and trenches scattered around the islands.

Hello, Kinmen! Each and every one of us (Vid, Savi, Mike & I) caught some sort of a stomach flu whilst filming this episode so we tried our very best to look like we weren't dying through the week. One of our challenges was to find these wind lion gods around the island. Wind Lion Gods are scattered throughout the island of Kinmen as they have been known to protect the people and give them good luck. It made for a fun start on the island and really helped us get to know the area as we got to make our own way around the island.

..Off some sort of a rocky cliff formation! Fishing is one of director Tim's favourite activities and if you can spot him, he's fishing in the background in his fancy yellow poncho, hehe. To be fair we are all wearing these funny ponchos, it rained on us.

Oh man I don't know what was worse! Military ropes or military ropes! I'm totally not a fan of balancing on a tight rope in mid-air so watch me scream. How convenient, as it was the day all the Taiwanese media & press came to visit. If only I could send Tom as a proxy for this activity, he'd have a field day and do it over and over again.

So Kinmen has a famous peanut candy and on one of the days we went to visit the factory and see how they were made. Here's us looking (but not acting) all chef-like behind the kitchen window.Always eating food on camera, always. Pretty sure Taiwan is famous for its food.The old buildings of Kinmen. These were built many years ago and look quite medieval to me. I can't remember much about them but wish I did. All of this couldn't be possible without the big production team behind it all. Fun Taiwan Adventures was produced by Vision Creator and the team is like one big family to me. Here are some selfies with the crew after we wrapped up our very last shoot day. It was kind of sad saying goodbye after spending an entire month on the road together day in, day out.
