ASOS spring shopping edit-2

Above: some of my favourite pieces collected from ASOS over the years.

A change of seasons always inspires me to do a bit of shopping, updating my wardrobe up with an small, edited selection of new styles so I can mix them back with pieces I already love to create lots of interesting new looks.ASOS is one of my go-to online destinations but its massive, endless catalogue of clothing can be extremely overwhelming especially when you're short on time. It takes many hours of browsing and filtering for me before I make an order. Yesterday, I spent way too many hours of my life doing just that but boy did I find some really nice stuff! As I've trawled through the site already and have heaps of favourites saved, I thought I'd cut you guys the hard work and pass on my curated edit of my ASOS spring must haves. So if you feel like shopping on ASOS but can’t be bothered sifting through the tens of thousands of items, take this as your cheat sheet and guide to the best of the best. Thanks to about four hours of work from yours truly, so you don't have to be the one clicking all those 'next page' links yourself. My friends and I love sharing links and inspiration from our never-ending open tabs so I hope these inspire your spring shopping too.Let me know if any catch your eye.. I can’t wait to share what I’ve ordered from the site soon!

MY NEW SEASON EDIT

This season I’m craving minimalistic but soft, romantic and pastel hues. The things I am in particular looking to pick up are a couple of versatile dresses, interesting skirts, cami tops and straw hats.

TOPS

This season I am looking for soft, simple minimalist pieces that are plain in colour but full of detail when it comes to design. Off shoulder tops and unique shapes are high up on this list.[show_shopthepost_widget id="1897792"]

SKIRTS & PANTS

I can't get enough of midi-skirts, pleats and wide-legged pants. My spring shopping update definitely included a couple of pieces below.[show_shopthepost_widget id="1897799"]

DRESSES

I love wearing dresses because it's so simple to put one on and not have to think about what to match it with. It's so hard to narrow down dresses on ASOS so I've always got a long list of them. Right now, soft denims and colours are what I am looking for.[show_shopthepost_widget id="1897804"]

HATS

I've been looking for a unique straw hat to update my accessories collection over the warmer months. Can you guess which one(s) I've purchased?[show_shopthepost_widget id="1897775"]

PETITE

Normal clothes are always too long for me so ASOS is my ultimate go-to when it comes to petite clothing. It's the first section I go through before I look at the rest of the site and when I see midi and maxi styles that I love, I can't resist because I know they'd never fit me if they were normal sized. I only wish everything came in petite![show_shopthepost_widget id="1897812"]

RESORT

Tom and I booked a holiday to Thailand at the end of this year and even though it's still months away, I am already eyeing off / have bought some resort wear to bring with me![show_shopthepost_widget id="1897823"]

Happy shopping!
