Don't you sometimes wish there was somewhere there to capture all your holiday moments together? Whenever I travel, I always bring around my tripod with me so that I can set it up so that Tom and I (or whoever I'm travelling with) can be in the picture together. It can be tedious and troublesome, but the results are worth it for the memories made. However, this Japan trip, we uncovered an even better way of taking photos together - we discovered SweetEscape, a holiday photography service specialising in stunning, candid photography in hundreds of cities around the world. I love the idea of holiday photography and meeting a local photographer - it's like doing an on-location shoot when your photographer and you are already 'on location!' So we were very excited to collaborate with them on a shoot in Kyoto and to be left with an album of holiday photos we will cherish forever.SweetEscape photography sessions are super easy to organise. You pick a time and place, plan the session details with the team and then get allocated with one of their many talented photographers. Once assigned, you are put in contact with your photographer to discuss any details pre-shoot and before you know it, it's shoot day!We chose to do our shoot in Kyoto and it was the perfect destination for it. The city is magical and has an old-school charm to it. Our assigned photographer was Keiko Kosaka, a lovely, professional, super organised and talented photographer from Osaka (Osaka and Kyoto are actually only 15 mins apart!).At the time of our shoot, SweetEscape had a kimono package available with a free kimono rental voucher. We took up this offer and spent an hour pre-shoot choosing our kimonos and getting dressed for the shoot. It was so much fun and you won't believe how many layers go into kimono dressing! We met at Arashiyama and started our shoot there, before heading to Gion district to explore its charming back streets. Keiko was totally on the ball and had location after location planned in her head and a zillion pose ideas to boot making our shoot seamless and so much fun! We explored so many cool areas in such a short amount of time and ended up with so many pictures we love. I can't believe how many different frames we were able to capture, she really has an creative eye. With SweetEscape sessions, you get to see 100+ edited photos back within 3 business days and download 40 of them in high resolution. They're yours to share online or print off - I think I might make a photo book out of them.Check out some of my favourites from the shoot below:Thank you SweetEscape and Keiko for helping create these unforgettable vacation  memories!Photos: Keiko Kosaka for SweetEscape
