Wearing: Keepsake the Label dress via Fashion Bunker (unfortunately I think it is sold out now) | Bared Shoes Thornbill heels | Everlane foldover pouch

It seems like wedding season these days is every season. With friends getting engaged and married at an increasingly frequent rate, and everyone buying and requesting headpieces for weddings and hens parties and the like, I feel like my weeks are always filled with something wedding related. A couple of weekends ago, two of my good friends from high school (high school sweethearts, in fact) got married. Their wedding was a relaxed and beautiful one - so very them - and I loved every single bit of it.When it comes to dressing for weddings, I'm definitely still new to putting wedding guest outfits together. It used to be a struggle for me as I could never find anything in my wardrobe that was suitable. After a bit of trial and error, I think I finally got the hang of it and thought I would document my outfit to provide some inspiration for those who are looking for some ideas too!My favourite picks for a wedding guest outfit are soft pastel tones or floral prints. Both of these options feel quite 'on theme' (haha) as they're romantic colours and looks and so are especially perfect for such an occasion. I would personally steer away from super bright colours as I feel like as a guest, I want to blend in a bit more so that's why I like to choose pastels. I love to wear dresses as they're super fuss free but would love to do two pieces and jumpsuits too. My dress here is by Keepsake (they're a great brand for occasions like these!). A couple of years ago I also blogged an Alice McCall wedding guest outfit which I also love for wearing to wedding related events.Shoes wise, gone are the days where I wear super high stilettos and regret the decision not long after. My favourite wedding guest shoe is the Thornbill low heeled sandal from Bared Shoes. The blush and rose gold tone is super versatile and go with a heap of different outfits. Honestly though, Bared Shoes are my #shoecrushforlife. If you don't already know, they do stunning shoes that come with a selection of customisable insole options which are especially great if you have wide or narrow feet. The owner of the brand, Anna, is a chiropractor and somehow she's managed to design shoes that are beautiful yet so magically comfortable. I'm blessed with wide feet and born with bunions and before Bared, shoe shopping was hell for me. I'm so glad I discovered them because I've rarely had a sore feet day since. For carrying all that unnecessary stuff I always carry, I have finally settled on a clutch I love. It's this Everlane foldover pouch which fits so much inside without looking bulky. I absolutely love it and feel like this, alongside the Thornbill shoes, will go with every wedding guest outfit I will ever need to put together.Lately, I have been obsessed with blush and soft pink tones. So much so that I didn't even realise until I got there that I was almost in head to toe blush pink that day! I hope you guys enjoyed this post, do let me know in the comments below what you love to wear when attending weddings too. Would love to hear what you guys do :)Photography: Rowena Cao
