Hilton Tokyo Odaiba Tour
Welcome to Hilton Tokyo Odaiba! For our first two nights in Tokyo, we spent it at the the stunning Hilton hotel on Odaiba Bay. Here's a tour of the hotel and visual diary of our stay.Upon entering Hilton, you will be greeted by this beautiful and spacious ballroom style foyer. The staff here are attentive and give you an intro the hotel and where everything is before checking into your room. We were here during Christmas so there were heaps of Christmas decorations up including this huge Christmas tree and Santa photos under the staircase!
The room:
We stayed in the twin one bedroom suite at Hilton Tokyo Odaiba and this was by far one of the most spacious rooms in Tokyo we've stayed at. Here's a look into our home away from home..The balcony view (we had two balconies!) was the beautiful view of the bay and famous Rainbow Bridge which lit up at night. It was so serene to relax with this view every afternoon. During Christmas, the Rainbow Bridge/Bay area has fireworks displays every Saturday from 7PM. Fireworks from your hotel balcony window.. I don't know what could be better than that! Our suite was really spacious, with two huge beds, two TVs, a separate living/lounge room, big bathroom, bath, shower, two toilets and a full size walk-in wardrobe. We loved having this separate living area in our suite. It was great to unwind and relax here during the day!The view of the Rainbow Bridge (and Tokyo Tower!) at night. The sunrises and sunsets were just as spectacular as well. I think this hotel would be the perfect place for a Tokyo escape as you can feel quite removed from Tokyo here but still so very close-by and well connected with the transport available right outside the door.
Access:
Hilton Tokyo Odaiba can be reached by the Yurikamome (a monorail tram) that connects Odaiba Bay to Shimbashi. The Yurikamome station is conveniently situated right outside the hotel making it super easy to access. Opposite the hotel is Aqua City shopping centre for all your shopping needs and there are some beautiful illumination displays nearby as well to check out at night.
Executive Lounge:
All guests staying in the executive room, premium executive room and suite room + all Hilton HHonours Diamond members are given complimentary access to the Hilton Tokyo Odaiba Executive Lounge, a stunning and spacious lounge open daily from morning to night on Level 3. Here, you are served complimentary light breakfast, drinks, afternoon tea and cocktail finger food. And, there's also a lovely outdoor terrace here as well overlooking the Rainbow Bridge!
Breakfast:
When it comes to food, Hilton always knows what's good and breakfast buffet at the hotel is definitely something you don't want to miss. All my favourite foods! There's always a great selection of western and continental breakfast, as well as Japanese breakfast items, fruits and more. If the weather is good, you can also choose to enjoy the breakfast outdoors in the fresh air.
Dinner at Sakura Restaurant
There are numerous in-house restaurants at Hilton Tokyo Odaiba with Sakura Restaurant being their Japanese offering. When in Japan, only eat Japanese food! We were delighted to sample the menu at Sakura and tried the Sakura Experience Course which showcases all the different types of Japanese cooking and food available at the restaurant. With this course, you get to try tempura, sushi, teppan-grill and more so it's definitely a great option if you can't decide what to settle on. The food here was delicious, the grilled Japanese beef was one of the best I've had, the tempura was light and fluffy and the sushi was an absolute delight. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to have a memorable meal. Thanks for hosting us Hilton Tokyo Odaiba, we loved our time here!
