Work in progress: spare room turned walk in wardrobe

A work in progress of the spare room Tom kindly let me turn into my walk in wardrobe! I've always wanted an organised space to put all my clothes, shoes and accessories in so one of the spare bedrooms in our house was the perfect candidate for this space. This room is kind of a huge luxury so I'm really grateful we're able to accomodate for such a thing though I sure have no plans to take it out of control as I've always believed in collecting quality items that you'll wear over and over again. I take this more and more seriously the older I get - quality is so important and versatility too. Clothes should be worn again and again, because that's what they're made for! Here's a quick peek of a cosy corner in this space - a lot of you always message me where my shoe shelves are from - they're the iconic IKEA Billy shelves which I love using however do note, I would only recommend you use these to store shoes if you wear a size 7.5 or smaller. I wear a 7-7.5 and some of my flat shoes only *just* fit with the doors closed. My jewellery box also gets lots of questions - that one is from Samantha Wills and is an absolute stunner in real life!Opposite these shoe shelves I store my make-up, accessories and also have an open rack of clothes. There's still a built in wardrobe in this room which I currently use. Though this part of the room is still getting organised - I'm looking at finding more efficient storage for this area and then finish it off eventually with maybe a nice ottoman or bench in the middle.. lots of ideas in the works, lots of pinterest browsing.. just needing some time to get it all together. Hope to show you all when it's done :)If you have any ideas for this room, would love to hear them below!
