Alkira Eco-Glamping Retreat - Emerald, VIC

If you’re looking for a dreamy weekend escape from Melbourne, here’s one I just know you will love! We booked this beautiful straw-baled yurt at Alkira Eco-Glamping Retreat late last year and a few weeks ago, our stay finally rolled around. It’s the most magical little place, fit with the most beautiful interiors and finds, with a handy outdoor kitchen on the side & a separate shower/bathroom area. There are also gorgeous animals on this hobby farm where Alkira is situated and being only an hour’s drive from Melbourne CBD, it makes for an easy weekend escape that’s far enough to feel like you’re escaping but not so far that it takes half a day to get to!
