Wearing Orange This Spring
Headband: Handmade by KANI, Blouse: Vintage, Skirt: Vintage via Sunny Sideup Closet, Tights: bought overseas, Socks: little local store, Shoes: bought overseas, Bag: Vintage
My sister and i are getting very sick of the gloomy surroundings and lack of lighting in our garden so today we decided to venture out onto the street to snap these photos. It was a pretty hilarious and long process as every time someone walked past we would scurry back into our driveway, or pretend that we were just looking at some flowers.
The afternoon sunlight was really beautiful today and i really wanted to share with you one of my newly acquired skirts, this orange polka dot skirt sent to me (along with some other goodies) from Sunny Sideup Closet, a lovely little store in Malaysia.
The skirt is actually part of a skirt+blouse two piece, which worn together looks like a dress! It is definitely very lovely to wear as you can either wear it together to give it the illusion that it is a dress, or wear the skirt separately, or wear the blouse separately! I will be sharing with you the other two ways in the near future.
I love the colour of it - it is a beautiful shade of what i'd call, 'burnt' orange. It's a little subtle but still stands out as well :)
The blouse is from my mother, it is one of my favourite ones (i know i always say this) - just look at that neck/collar detail! It is very light and flowy and i can't wait to wear it more often as the weather becomes warmer.
Anyway, that's it for today :) Just a little shout out to Ezreen from Sunny Sideup - thanks for your kindness! I am a huge fan of vintage for many reasons such as it's quality, environmentally friendly and unique nature. If anyone is interested in getting their hands on some lovely vintage dresses, do check Sunny Sideup Closet. They have great range, great prices and is managed by extremely lovely people :)
