Part II is here! Moving south of Hyde Park now, here are some of my favourites places which we visited this time around.

KENSINGTON, CHELSEA & SURROUNDS

Pretty suburbia looking streets and lots of great eateries. If I could just transport this entire area to Melbourne, that would be A+++. Turn off Google maps and walk without a direction - you'll be surprised the streets and pretty front doors you'll come across. I still remember the first time I visited London and just couldn't stop staring at all the beautifully preserved architecture. Four years on I am still the same.

TANYA'S CAFE

Visit Tanya's cafe for breakfast or lunch (we came for breakfast and the menu was not very extensive but the lunch menu most definitely was). You'll be dining amongst the most beautiful greenery and pot plant wall & the food here definitely gets a big big tick. The atmosphere is super positive. Just check out those serviettes!

MAITRE CHOUX

Lactose intolerant, I am. But sometimes (very rarely), I'll venture into the undesired territory to taste things that end up being so worth it. Maitre Choux - a tiny shopfront painted with confetti sprinkles - is just one of those places. They stock a range of french patisserie, with their main product being the rainbow coloured chocolate eclairs that never cease to draw the attention of passer-bys on this busy street in Kensington. Eclairs are Tom's most favourite thing in the world so we just had to go! We picked up three to try (berry, lemon & pistachio) and I can guarantee you that they tasted as delicious as they looked pretty. Only a couple of minutes from South Kensington tube station too!

Instalment #3 coming soon to a screen near you!
