Hello from Kubu Beach! One of my favourite things about staying at RIMBA Jimbaran was visiting the private beach, Kubu Beach. There's a shuttle that takes guests from RIMBA & AYANA straight to Kubu and my sister and I were so eager to go that we stood in front of RIMBA at 8am only to later be told that the shuttle to Kubu wasn't starting until 9am.. Ha. Plans changed and we ended up getting driven to Kubu in a Villa guests' buggy when the driver felt sorry for us that the first shuttle to Kubu was already packed with guests from RIMBA with the same idea at us (but a better understanding of the shuttle bus timetable!). Nevertheless we made it Kubu and it was most definitely the highlight of staying at the resort here. Whilst the resorts here were lovely with their pools and all, I just love the feel of the vast openness of an ocean beach. Although pretty small as it is nestled between cliffs, Kubu has got it all. Gorgeous rock formations, spotless sand, food, drinks & the beautiful ocean. The best part of Kubu is that it's private. You kind of feel like you're here with your resort family :-) This Alice jumpsuit was the perfect companion for exploring this magical corner of Bali - I'm honestly in love with this beach - & every one of those 200 steps down to the beach is so worth the effort..Photography: Rowena Cao
