SUMMER OF SILK
- In collaboration with GRANA -
It's always a never-ending summer in our heads, isn't it? One day it shines, the next day it pours but inside my mind, I'm always filling my days with daydreams of fairy-floss sunsets and Melbourne is lucky to be home to so many of them..I'm thrilled to share with you a collaboration with colour essentials label GRANA. GRANA is all about playful, high quality basics and their versatile designs make a great addition to any wardrobe. They've completely won my heart over with their Chinese Silk range - the rainbow of colour, flattering cuts and soft fabrics make these pieces ultimate wardrobe staples. Today I've picked out some of my favourite GRANA pieces from the Chinese silk range to show you how I incorporate them into my day to day.Scroll down below also to pick up an exclusive discount code to GRANA should you like to shop the range yourself![ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end][ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end][ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end]
Wearing: GRANA loose tank in powder blue | GRANA silk ankle pants in navy, short length (because I'm petite, ha!)
These two pieces are the ultimate wardrobe building blocks that also have a life of their own when worn separately. A basic tank in silk gives an otherwise basic piece a luxurious touch and a major thumbs up to pants that come in three different lengths. I'm feeling like I need to own these in every other colour as I always seem to have issues with pants being way too long![ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end]
Wearing: GRANA silk racerback camisole in off white | GRANA silk shorts in lilac
I love my soft, romantic hues, especially lilacs, blush and cream. They're super easy to wear and instantly add a dreamy pop to your outfit. In particular, an off white cami is always a foolproof compliment to everything - it definitely sits in the same category of LBDs. I also think it would be a super cool idea to own these two pieces in the same shade because then you can pass it off as a playsuit as well![ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end][ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end]
Wearing: GRANA racerback trapeze dress in emerald
Another one of my favourite pieces on the site is this trapeze dress. I love loose, flowy silhouettes - I really can't remember the last time I wore a pencil skirt - so this one feels very at home sitting in my wardrobe. I haven't embraced emerald green for a while but am so excited to welcome this colour back into my wardrobe as I can just see its transeasonal potential. With the temperatures already heading south in Melbourne, I can see myself wanting to dress it warmer with a woolly cardigan and chunky socks.

The code expires at the end of this month on 30 April 2016, so get in quick!Sizing when shopping online can be hard so for reference, I wear an Australian size 6 and take a XXS in GRANA. Being a petite blogger, when it comes to the pants, I go for the 'short' length. They are a dream come true & once again, I probably need these in every colour, out of literal necessity. #weneedmorepetiteclothing. Happy shopping! Photography: Rowena Cao w/ Canon EOS 7D Mark II
