Vintage blouse, vintage cardigan, DIY rolled up shorts made out of thrifted jeans, no name socks, vintage boots, glasses from watching 3d movies

Hi everyone! So this is outfit 1 of 5 for the Sportsgirl Superstylist competition i entered. Not sure if i will make it as a weekly finalist, but fingers crossed. See if i don't make it as a finalist, at least you get to see my entry on my blog.. right :D? I found out that the competition this year (who gets to go into the final round) is not based on votes (votes are only influential/help the judges decide) which made me feel a bit better about entering as i just hate asking people to vote for me and in the end always give up/feel bad about it. So yay :)
Anyway, a little about the outfit, (Off hand comment - can i just say that i LOVE this 'Compose' mode i have just discovered, it suddenly makes me want to type more and more and more!!!) Alright these red jeans were from a nifty thrifty op shop in the outer suburbs of where i live. When i saw them, i immediately knew what was going to happen to them! I was actually looking for a pair of old baggy normal coloured blue denim jeans but hey, this makes it all the more fun (and more me) as i love red :) For those who were wondering how i made these, well it is dead simple. All you have to do is snip them about lower-thigh high, and roll them up. Because the material of these jeans were really stiff/tough, they stay rolled up!
You will have seen in the previous post that i was going to incorporate a tapestry backpack into the shoot, but thing is, we got lazy. You see we had to walk to this park about three times to take these photos as i kept going back home to change outfits. It was so hot on the day and we were carrying a lot of things with us so i just couldn't be bothered. Oh well :) Can anyone guess which one of these photos made it into my entry spread?
